coveted McCarty Metro Lifetime Achievement
Award for 2018. There will be 2 inductions. Our readers will select an
entry, and the editor will select a second
inductee.

Margaret
had the most votes by our
readers. She is very deserving
of this honor. Not only has she
been the co-editor and proofreader
(censor) for the McCarty Metro for over 2 decades, but
she has stood by the Editor
through all of his health issues
without complaint. Margaret can
also be seen at many
McCarty gatherings as she always
takes time out to do crafts with
the 'grandbrats'. She also
authored several columns in the
past for the McCarty Metro dealing with scrap booking,
and of course her renown Craft Corner.
The
McCarty Metro is proud to induct
Margaret McCarty into the 2018
McCarty Metro Hall Of Fame with
a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Behind
every great man is a great woman.
Kathlene has been a rock for head
writer Jerry McCarty. Not only her,
but also Dana and Evan. Jerry is lucky
to have this lovely and dedicated
woman by his side walking though this
life hand in hand with him. She is
also a pillar of the community serving
Valencia schools and city in many
leadership roles. Kathlene also serves
as our genealogist for the McCarty
Metro, doing much of the
research on our family that you see
each month in the McCarty Memories
page.
I
am proud to induct Kathlene McCarty
into the 2018 McCarty Metro Hall Of
Fame with a Lifetime Achievement
Award.
