Thanks for the question Mr. O. I think the best way is to make sure the Mc Auto's material is really bad, and that the delivery is off. Actually, it is a quite tasty little drink, but make sure you chug it, or the longer you wait, the nastier it gets... What you will need is 3/4 pint Guinness® stout, 1/2 shot Bailey's® Irish cream, and 1/2 shot Jameson® Irish whiskey. Add the Bailey's and Jameson to a shot glass, layering the Bailey's on the bottom. Pour the Guinness into a pint glass or beer mug 3/4 of the way full and let settle. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and chug.

Father's Day Ideas

Well, Father's Day is coming up, and if you are like me, you never know what to get Dear Old Dad. Most Dad's fancy themselves as bartenders and great cooks. (Well, we know different, but it is Father's Day after all!) You can't take Dad out to dinner, he'd only want to pay, so let's spoil Dad a bit and give him what he wants for his special day!

First you need to start the coffee, turn on ESPN and serve him breakfast on the couch.
The next step is a Bloody Mary for Dad and you. (Make Mom's double strength, she's going to need it before the day is out!)
Now, let's mix up some of Chrissy's Whiskey BBQ Sauce for mellowing (see recipe below).

Time to start the grill. Grill? Maybe it is time for a new one! This is where you intentionally flub it and ask for Dad's help. Please visit the BBQ Site for tips on grilling and pick out a common mistake to make. (Dad's "The Man", so he has to have a bit of input here!)
This is a great time to put the TV back on his favorite channel, but before he gets settled...

Well, let's impress Dad! Tell him you've been dying for one of his Manhattans, Whiskey Sours, or Margaritas!
Check the grill!
By now your Mom is shaking her head, but, you have to remind her it is Father's Day.
Now it is time to baste & turn, set the table, and tell Mom you really love her, but it is only one day out of the calendar.
Find the portable TV and set it up in the Dining Room. Tune it in to whatever Dad is watching.
Set the table with the food before you try to move Dad into eat.
Leave the room & let Dad discover Mom is eating with him - alone.
Start the mood music from their era in the room Dad was in before he went to eat.
Have a couple Pousse Cafes waiting in the other room for them.
Go out and have a few yourself & sneak home late at night to clean up the mess!
Note: Clean the grill, or you will never live it down!

Whiskey BBQ Sauce

Recipe:

2 C Catsup
1/3 C Whiskey (Bourbon is great!)
1/4 C Sugar
1/4 C Lime or Lemon Juice
2 Tbsp. Mustard
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp. Hot Sauce
Salt, Pepper and Garlic, to taste.

Shake or Mix ingredients together. Let stand to meld flavors. Drizzle or brush over meat while cooking.
