My Final Thoughts

Once again, thank you all who wrote articles or sent pictures to help make this edition of the McCarty. Also, welcome to our newest subscribers, Lynne, Bev, and Dennis. I would also like to extend a wish to all of our readers for a very Merry Christmas. We will be back on January 1 with the first edition of 2005.

I came across this message in an e-mail, and it puts a lot of things in perspective during the hustle & bustle of the Christmas Season. Be thankful for all you have, and for the people that continue to protect us.

Did you sleep well last night?

Bed a little lumpy...
Toss and turn any...
Wish the heat was higher...
Maybe the a/c wasn't on...
Had to go to the john...
Need a drink of water...???

Yes... It is like that!
Count your blessings!
Pray for them!

.Talk to your God and the next time when... 

...the other car cuts you off and you must hit the brakes
...you have to park a little further from Walmart than you want to be
...you're served slightly warm food at the restaurant
...you're sitting and cursing the traffic in front of you
...the shower runs out of hot water

Think of them... Protecting your freedom!
