 I Need Your Help
Steve received this letter from a gentleman from the Lupus Foundation. This is the organization that receives the proceeds from the Dan McCarty Golf Classic. As you know, DJ suffered with this disease, and they are looking to use whatever memories, recollections, and stories to help other young men who are facing the same disease. I will put any info I receive together and forward it to the Foundation. Your help would be appreciated. Feel free to e-mail me or fill out the form below to the best of your ability.

Thank You,
Kelly (editor)

Dear Steve,

We are working diligently on the program that I mentioned to you about recognizing the importance of treatment for men with lupus. We are making this campaign a national campaign expanding the scope of the educational programs that we discussed. We would like to tell the story of your brother's history with lupus and help make other men and women aware of the importance of treatment and overcoming the social stigmatism of men being diagnosed with lupus.

Would you or one of your family members be willing to give us a synopsis of your brother's life and experience with lupus similar to our discussion at lunch a few months back. We really believe the work your family does in honoring his memory and supporting this new outreach will be significant in reaching other people.

Please give me a call if you have any questions.
