I know it's getting a bit cold in the north, so in addition to my November mixes, I also included a nice non-alcoholic Hot Cocoa recipe to help warm your cockles.

November Drink Recipes

Burnt Turkey

0.5 oz Bourbon
0.5 oz Cinnamon Schnapps

Mix together with crushed ice in a glass and garnish with mint leaves
Turkey Feather

0.25 oz Amaretto
2.0 oz Bourbon
0.5 oz Drambuie

Mix together with crushed ice in a glass and garnish with mint leaves
Fall Crisp

1 - 2 oz apple vodka
14 oz apple cider

Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into glass.
A Sweet November

0.2 oz Amaretto
2.0 two inch stick must be dark Chocolate
16.0 oz Chocolate or vanilla Ice Cream
1.0 oz Bacardi Rum
5 oz sprinkle around ice cream Sugar

take a glass fill 3/4's of glass with vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Then put a drop of sherry in. Pour bacardi and amaretto in at the same time (use pourers). Take two chocolate (dark) pieces and place them in ice cream. Sprinkle sugar on top. Then pour another drop of sherry on top.
Angel's Fall

1.5 oz Amaretto
1.0 splash Cranberry juice
0.75 oz Gin
1.0 splash Grapefruit Juice
1.5 oz Grenadine
1.0 splash Pineapple Juice
0.25 oz 151 Proof Rum
0.25 oz Dark Rum
0.25 oz Dark Rum
0.25 oz Light Rum
0.75 oz Vodka

Mix together with crushed ice in a glass and garnish with mint leaves.

Black and Fall

0.75 oz Calvados
0.75 oz Cognac
0.25 oz Sambuca
0.25 oz Triple sec

Mix together with crushed ice in a glass and garnish with mint leaves.
Legends of the Fall

0.75 oz Amaretto
1.0 oz Cranberry juice
0.75 oz Jack Daniels
2.5 oz Pineapple Juice

Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice. Add all ingredients. Stir and serve
Fallen Leaves

3/4 oz rosso vermouth
1/4 oz dry vermouth
3/4 oz Calvados® brandy
1 dash brandy & a twist lemon peel

Stir together in a mixing glass filled with ice cubes. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, add a twist of lemon peel, and serve.
The Hunt for Red November

12.0 oz Red Dog Beer
3.0 dash Angostura Bitters
0.5 oz Merlot Red Wine
1.0 oz Vodka
1.0 tsp Jagermeister

Mix all but beer, pour into sturdy 16 oz glass, then add beer.
Turkeyball

1 oz Wild Turkey® bourbon whiskey
3/4 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 splash pineapple juice

Combine 1 oz. Wild Turkey, 3/4 oz. Amaretto, and a splash of Pineapple Juice with ice in a shaker tin. Shake and strain into a shot glass.
Royal Turkey

1 oz Wild Turkey® bourbon whiskey
1 oz sloe gin
1 oz apricot brandy
2 oz pineapple juice
3 oz 7-Up® soda

Shake all ingredients (except 7-up) and strain into an ice-filled pina colada glass. Add 7-up, garnish with fruit slices, add straws and serve.

Non-Alcoholic

Tricky Turkey Apple Cider

1 gallon apple cider
12 whole cloves
3 3 inch cinnamon sticks
2 whole nutmeg
2 chunks of crystallized ginger

Dump all ingredients in crockpot. Heat on high for 2 hours, and on low to keep warm until ready to serve.
Classy Cricket

4 oz pineapple juice
1 oz creme de coconut
1 splash cranberry juice
2 grenadine syrup
1 oz cherry juice & cherry garnish

In Collins glass, or tall cocktail glass, add all ingredients over ice. Transfer to shaker and shake well. Pour entire contents into glass and serve. You may garnish with a Marischino Cherry if desired. 
Crockpot Hot Cocoa

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
1 1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup hot water
1 gallon milk
1 tsp vanilla extract


In large saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Add hot water slowly, mixing well. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil and stir 2 minutes. Add milk; heat to serving temperature, stirring occasionally. DO NOT boil. Remove from heat; add vanilla, cinnamon if desired, and whip with a whisk. Serve hot, with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired. This recipe can be doubled and kept in crockpot for easier serving to large groups.1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
