ENGLAND
Austin and I arrived in London at 10am after a 12 hour flight. I went to Regent Park Gardens with Austin and my sister. It was quite lovely. We also went to the Winchester Cathedral (a bow dee oh doe) and walked around the town of Winchester. Another side trip was to Stonehenge. It was an awesome sight, in and around the cold, wind, and rain. Next stop... We both spent 2 hours at the Roman Baths. It was interesting, but not in use anymore. The Tower of London was cool. We stayed for 3 and a half hours. There, we saw the crown jewels. We also went to the Imperial War Museum. It was interesting, but sad. The London Eye (huge Ferris Wheel) was fun. Very smooth and the view was beautiful. Had dinner at the Hard Rock of London. Yum Yum. We met with my nephew Toby and his fiancée, Rosalie. He is attending school outside of London. It was good to see them. Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum was crowded, but lots of fun. We took lots of pictures there. We rode the train to Windsor Castle. It was amazing... There was lots of gold.

FRANCE
Out trip continued on to Paris. We took the Eurostar train there from London. It took under 3 hours. We went to the Louvre, and took pics from the outside of it. The Eiffel Tower was nice. We went to the 2nd level. The day was cold and raining, but the views were amazing. The next day, we saw the Mona Lisa and Venus at the Louvre, then went to Euro-Disney. It was very crowded, as the school year had just ended, so there were lots of kids. It was fun, even though it rained part of the afternoon. We closed down the park at 8pm.

SWITZERLAND
After Paris was a 10 hour bus ride to Switzerland. Lucerene, Switzerland is beautiful!!! No crime here because there are cameras everywhere. We went up Mt. Pilatus. We were in the clouds. Of course it was a scenic view. We had lunch and saw a Swiss Folklore show. I got picked out of the audience to yodel. I stunk, but it was fun.

ITALY
We then headed to Venice. On the way, we stopped in Lugano for lunch at this quaint little restaurant called Burger King. Yummm. In Venice, Austin and I went on a "Gondola Serenade". It was lots of fun. Venice itself is crowded, and was very hot during our visit. We also visited Burano Lace Makers and brightly colored homes. Our next stop was Pisa! By the way... The tower IS leaning. In Florence, we saw "David". In Rome, we threw 2 coins in the Trevi Fountain and made a wish. On American Independence Day, we went to Vatican City and got blessed by Pope Benedict. In addition to seeing the Pope, we saw the Sistine Chapel. It was truly amazing!!! Back in Rome, we went inside the Colosseum and Circus Maximus. The were very old, but cool.

It took us 21 hours to get home due to some weather delays.
Overall, it wasn't quite as funny as the Clark W. Griswold European Vacation, but is was FFEE.
